Metasequoia (Redwood), one of the most ancient tree species in the world is growing in Xuedou Valley. The best viewing period is from November to early December.

Itinerary

·7:00-7:30: Meet up in Jing'an, Shanghai

·7:30-11:30: Drive to Xuedou Valley, Shaoxing City

·11:30-12:30: Along the Xuedou Valley all the way up and admire the scenery

·12:30-13:30: Have a picnic lunch and enjoy the view together

·13:30-14:30: Hike to the mountaintop reservoir

·14:30-16:30: Follow the ancient path slowly down the hill·16:30-20:30: Drive back to Shanghai

What you need to bring

Small backpack, pack lunch, outdoor non-slippery hiking shoes, mountain climbing pole, some water, tissue, and some snacks for the bus journey.🥪  👟  🦯  🧻  🍪Please note this is a wild hike.
