Updated list of Visa-free transit countries
The National Immigration Administration (NIA) has announced a significant update to the visa-free transit policy, effective immediately. This new policy allows foreign nationals from 54 eligible countries to enjoy visa-free transit in China for up to 240 hours (10 days). This is an increase from the previous 72 and 144-hour policies, providing travelers with greater flexibility and convenience.
Key Details (updated as of 17 Dec):
New Stay Duration: Extended to 240 hours.
Expanded Ports of Entry: 21 new ports have been added, bringing the total to 60 open ports in 24 provinces for visa-free transit.
Eligible Countries: Includes Russia, Brazil, the UK, the USA, Canada, and more.
