Okdeal Shangqing Ancient Trail in 17 March 2018
With the arrival of spring, nature is jumping back to life.
We headed into the wild trek in the bamboo forest near Shaoxing, 2.5 hours drive away from Shanghai. With routes that weave through mossy stones and small streams, bamboo tree reflections flying over the lake, bird singing and flowers blossoming, we had the opportunity to soak up surrounding beauty and enjoy the simple pleasure of being in the nature.
Even after a half-day hike, I found myself restored and revitalized by the experience, and the stress in the big city much easier to deal with.
“The clearest way into the Universe is through a forest wilderness.”
― John Muir
