Trip Details: Destination: Kaolao Ancient Trail, Cixi, Zhejiang Province Date: Sunday, 16th, June 2024 Price: 380 rmb/person Bus Pick Up: 7:30am at 1788 Plaza, 1818 West Nanjing Road, Jing'an Hiking Difficult Rating: ★★★☆☆ Difficult and requires some hiking skills. The hiking distance is about 10 kilometers, which takes about 5 hours. The terrain primarily consists of dirt roads. Please make sure to wear comfortable non-slip hiking shoes, bring suitable hiking poles and gloves.
Trip Itinerary: 07:30 - Head off from Shanghai 1788 Plaza, Jing’an. Cross the Hangzhou Bray Bridge. 36 km to the destination. 11:00 - Arrive the Kaolao Ancient Trail. Start an exciting day in nature! 12:00 - Reach the waterfalls area. Enjoy picnics beside the gorgeous view. 13:30 – Reach the peak of the trail, where lays a beautiful fir forest. 15:00 – Arrive the waxberry orchard. Enjoy the fun fruit picking and feel free to eat free to eat as many as you want in the orchard! 16:00 – Head for the Minghe Ancient Town. Explore the local culture and enjoy yummy snacks. 17:30 – Head back to Shanghai and arrive around 20:00
