Travel Route Overview

Day 1 Arrive in Lhasa. Airport/Train station to hotel transfer at designated period of time. Rest in the hotel to acclimatize the altitude

Day 2 Lhasa City Tour, Visit Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple and Barkhor Street

Day 3 Visit Ganden Monastery and have a short hiking around the holy mountain

Day 4 Driving from Lhasa to Lake Yamdrok, pass Gyantse and stay overnight at Shigaste (370km). Visit Yamdrotso Lake, Karola Glacier, Simila Pass and Manla Reservoir, Gyantse Kumbum & Pelkor Monastery

Day 5 Drive from Shigatse to Rongpuk (340km). Far View of Himayala Mountain Range.

Day 6 Drive from Rongpuk to Shigatse(340km). Far view of Everest and visit Rongpuk Monastery.

Day 7 Drive from Shigatse to Lhasa (270km). Visit Tashilunpo Monastery and River View of Brahmaputra.

Day 8 Depart from Lhasa and take the flight back home.

1. We take 3000 deposit for this 8-day trip when you sign up. If you cancel 28 days before departure, we will give you a full refund. If you cancel 14 days before departure, we will keep half of the deposit as cancellation fee; if you cancel within two weeks, we cannot offer you a refund.

2. Please note that our airport picking up service is provided ONLY during the designated time of arrival. (Will send recommended flights in group chat after the trip is confirmed). If you book the flights beyond the time, the picking up service charges will be 200rmb(5 seats) - 350rmb(7 seats).

Please note that we will apply for the Tibet permit for you 2-4 weeks prior to departure. Please don’t book the air tickets until you get the Tibet permit (7-10 days prior to departure). Please send us all of the documents with high resolution pictures once you have done.
