About high altitude sickness

The altitude of Gannan area is around 3000m on average. You may feel a little sick at first. But don't worry, drink lots of water and have enough sleep every day, the symptoms will disappear very soon. You could also take the tablet hongjingtian (红景天) starting 7 days prior to departure as precaution.
