In the southeast of Yunnan Shangri-La, there’s two towering snow-capped mountains standing opposite of each other, with roaring Jingsha River run between. They are Mt. Haba and Mt. Jade Dragon, two of the most majestic snow mountains in north Yunnan, and two “twin brothers” in local folk culture.

In this tour, you’ll have the chance to hike off-the-beaten-path route into these two legendary mountains, to discover some of the most undisturbed sceneries away from tourists, to glamping by stunning alpine lake, and to simply enjoy the tranquility of mother nature.

What you should know before signing up

1. This hiking trip is designed for all people of 16-65 year old  with good physical condition. Hiking difficulty rate at  ★★★✰✰✰ (moderate). *beginner friendly

2. Altitude - This trip contain high altitude hiking and camping at 3000-4100m above sea level; Light headache symptom is expected. Please do prepare anti-headache pills

3. Temperature on Mt.Haba drops to 0°C  at night in summer; please bring your thermal underwear/hat/wool socks, etc; *we will provide anti -20°C sleeping bag

About high altitude sickness. The altitude of Haba Mountain is 3000+m on average. It has relatively high oxygen level. Always keep good rest and follow the tour guide's advice and you don't have to worry about high altitude sickness.

Outdoor Tips-

· Be in good physical condition. Yubeng is a moderately-strenuous high-altitude hiking route. Please assess your physical capability carefully before signing up and keep regular exercise before setting out.

· Always follow the tour guide. Do not hike by yourself in any circumstance during the trip. Do not go near cliffs for photos.

· Always wear appropriate outdoor clothing.

· Be sure to carry a first aid kit/emergency signaling devices

· Be weather wise. Waterproof clothes/shoes is important.Be alert for slippery areas and take your time to avoid tripping.

· Do not drink alcohol throughout the 4 days in Yubeng.
