About Gouqi Island:

Gouqi Island is famous for its well-preserved fishing villages and cultures, the largest aquatic farm in China and the Mountain and SeaWonders (山海奇观)rock that was believed to be left by General Hou Jigao of Ming Dynasty, who defended the south-eastern coast against the raids from wokou.

Gouqi Island incorporates nearly 400 islands known as Shengsi Archipelago, which is purported to be the largest archipelago of China. Due to the rapid advances of its diversifying industries, many fishing villages of Zhoushan have been abandoned today. This village was once a thriving fishing settlement until the small bay couldn’t support the ever-increasing number of fishing boats. In only a few decades, the village has turned into an abandoned paradise with green ivy swallowing every former home.

TRIP ITINERARY

Day One

19:00-19:15 People meet up and depart from Shanghai downtown, please prepare your own dinner on bus

19:15 - 21:00 Arrive at dishui Lake and check in the hotel

21:00 - Late night go to bed

Accommodation: Economy Hotel at Dishui Lake ,Pudong

Day Two

06:00 - 06:45 Get up and enjoy breakfast

06:45 - 08:10 Check out hotel and take bus with 1 hour to Shenjiawan Pier

08:10 - 08:40 Boarding on ferry

08:40 - 11:40 Take ferry with 2 hours and arrive at Gouqi island (the ferry schedule is not commited, will be depending on the specific schedule that the operating team book, it might departure between 08:20 - 09:40am)

11:40 - 13:00 take the local transport with 10mins, check in hotel and enjoy lunch

13:00 - 16:30  Take transport with 40 mins and go visit 【Abandoned Fishing Village】

16:30 - 19:00  Walk along the coast and visit【The Mountain and Sea Wonders】,then you will be guided to appreciate 【The Aquatic Farm】 and the beautiful sunset.

19:30 - 20:30 Get back to hotel and enjoy seafood dinner

20:30 - late night Enjoy party at bars near the beach

Day Three 

07:30 - 09:00 Enjoy  breakfast and the fresh air in the morning, 

09:00 - 11:30  After breakfast you can choose to chill at the beach(tour attraction entrance tickets are included), or go hiking at East Cliff with entrance ticket and transportation fee 100rmb/person 

11:30 - 12:30 Get back to hotel, check out rooms and enjoy lunch 

12:30 - 13:00 Head to the pier 13:00 - 13:30 Boarding on the ferry 

13:30 - 15:30 Take 2-hour ferry to Shenjiawan Pier 

16:00 - 18:30 Drive back to Shanghai downtown and finish the trip.
