Hidden 200km south from Shanghai city in Shaoxing, Zhejiang, lies one of the most famous mountains in East Zhejiang – Keshi Mountain - literally means “stone carving mountain”.
It got it’s name from 200bc when one of the most famous emperor in Chinese history – Qing Shi Huang – asked his chancellor Li Si to carve scriptures into the stones of the mountain. Keshi Mountain is alway a shining pearl on the East ZhejiangTang poetry road.
This renowned historical mountain is now a popular hiking destination that attracts tourists from around the country. And during the recent years, it went viral for being the first in east China that opens a trending outdoor activity – Via Ferrata.
Via Ferrate, also called “iron chain climbing”, is a new outdoor activity originated from Italy.It allows you to climb the mountain cliffs by using the iron chains and pedals.
