Trip Itinerary:

Day One: Zhangjiajie City Arrival

Local guide will meet and greet you at the airport or train station during the designated time of arrival. 15 minutes driving to the Pullman hotel in zhangjiajie city. Feel free to explore the city.

Day Two: Zhangjiajie City - Fenghuang Ancient Town

After an amazing buffet breakfast, you will drive to the famous Fenghuang Ancient Town(3.5 hours' drive) to start today's adventure.【Fenghuang (Phoenix) Ancient Town】is an 300-year-old built in the Qing Dynasty and is still being kept in its original appearance. Covering an area of 1.8 km, the ancient city is a gathering place for Miao and Tujia ethnic minority. It was added to the UNESCO World Heritage Tentative List in 2008 and was regarded as the most beautiful town in China by New Zealand writer Rewi Alley. The wooden houses, 【Diaojiaolou】 and stone roads are the typical scenes here. When sightseeing in this town in a misty day, especially on a traditional boat from the famous 【Tuojiang River】, you will really find why it is so famous and popular all the time. The scenery after rain or in the misty morning is more like a Chinese traditional painting rather than a real world.

Day Three: Fenghuang - Zhangjiajie - Grand Canyon and Glass Bridge

Get up early to freely explore the ancient town in the morning. Go deep in the lanes and alleys and talk to the friendly local minorities. We will assemble in the hotel lobby at around 10:00am and head for the classic Zhangjiajie. You'll firstly visit the Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Glass Bridge. This bridge is not only the highest, but also the longest glass bridge in the world. It is not for the faint-hearted. After crossing the glass bridge , you can choose to experience the exciting zip line and slide to get to the bottom of the vallery , or just walk stairs down. Then hike about 2hours through the canyon and enjoy the beautiful landscape of breath-taking cliffs , lush forests, caves, colourful streams and rivers that surround you. (ZIP LINE , SLIDE , VR MOVIE  are not inclued,  80rmb/person wil be at your own expense if you are interested to do this)

Day Four: Bailong Elevator - Yuanjiajie - Tianzi Mountain

After an amazing buffet breakfast, you will make your way to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park to start today's adventure. Explore beautiful scenery during your ride to 【Bailong Elevator】 made of see-through glass before using it to ascend to Yuanjiajie Mountain. Venture from Yuanjiajie's summit with a 2.5-hour hike into the Pillar of Southern Sky, an inspiration for Hallelujah Mountains in the movie, Avatar. From there, you will proceed to the Platform of Forgetfulness to admire nearby peak-views before walking across the First Bridge Under Heaven. Lunch at the local restaurant will be available at your own expense. Next, park shuttle bus will take you to visit Tianzi Mountain where Imperial Writing Brush Peaks, Xihai Stone Forest, and other incredible views and scenery await.

Day Five: Sandstone Painting Institute -Tianmen Mountain - Zhangjiajie Departure

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, then you will take a short visit to an amazing art gallery of sandstone painting to appreciate a new kind of painting style combining traditional Chinese ink painting and eco-friendly techniques.

After that , we will drive to visit the Tianmen moutain, appears as the "New Legend Of Zhangjiajie" It’s the highest spot (1500m) in the whole Zhangjiajie area. The landscape there is totally different from Zhangjiajie national Park. Unbelievably, this single mountain holds 4 World Guinness Records in its small body. and any of them will be overwhelmingly impressive to the traveler of any type. we will experience sky walk , 999 steps , 99 curves Tongtian Road. After being taken back to Zhangjiajie, you will have free time in the city until your tour concludes with your transfer to the airport according to your flight schedule.
